Sara Gendy

Registered Psychotherapist (QUALIFYING)

Healing is a personal journey that looks different for everyone. It’s about finding moments of peace amid life’s challenges and learning to trust yourself again. Growth happens when you feel supported, safe, and understood.

As a therapist from a BIPOC background, I bring an awareness of how culture, language, and identity shape our experiences. I understand the complexity of navigating different worlds and how this can impact a person’s sense of self and well-being.

In therapy, the focus is on creating a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and navigate life’s changes in a way that honors your pace and values.

This approach is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for your whole story—your challenges, your heritage, and your hopes for the future. Healing is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about reconnecting with who you are and what you want from life.

MY REASON

I became a therapist because I believe no one should face life’s challenges alone. I’ve seen how stigma and lack of access can prevent people, especially in diverse communities, from getting the support they deserve. My goal is to offer a warm, culturally aware space where your story is heard, your strengths are recognized, and you can work toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

In the garden of life, therapy is the nourishment that helps us bloom.
